- Responsible for calculating food costs for a prestigious airline client and maintaining updated costing and pricing calculation files using MS Excel.
- Performs intricate analytical tasks as directed by the Executive Leadership or General Managers.
- Manages data entry from various documents into designated computer databases, files, and forms, ensuring accurate compilation, compliance, proper sorting, and establishes entry priorities.
- Supports costing and pricing activities by leading the data entry process into Microsoft Navision for both new and existing products.
- Conducts ERP and other related business system data entry tasks as needed to facilitate operational and production requirements/standards.
- Develops menu specifications for all production departments and conducts menu presentations for current and potential future airline clients.
- Coordinates with chefs and the purchasing department to gather menu details, recipes, and raw material specifications needed.
- Monitors and analyzes food and beverage usage.
- Assist in training and onboarding new and existing Junior Costing Analysts.
- Additionally, provides support to the Leadership in various analyst duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Economics, Statistics, or Finance.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in product bill of materials, data entry, technical specifications, and ERP data management systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency in various systems, notably Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and ERP systems, with a preference for Microsoft Navision.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities coupled with a meticulous, analytical mindset.
- Proactive and committed to forwardthinking initiatives, with a handson approach to tasks.
- Comfortable thriving in a fastpaced setting and meeting stringent deadlines.
- Capable of collaborating effectively with colleagues and management across all levels, as well as having the ability to work independently.
- While knowledge of culinary arts is advantageous, a strong interest in the Food Service Industry is considered beneficial.
