- Experience providing clinical intake assessments, short-term individual and group counseling and psychotherapy, crisis intervention, case management and consultation services with a range of clinical issues and complexity, including threat assessment and suicidality.

- Training and experience supervising psychological interns, including oversight of clinical services and record-keeping.

- Five or more years' experience providing comprehensive counseling and psychological services in a higher education setting.
- Demonstrated experience in providing culturally competent services to a diverse client population, with an emphasis on serving transgender students and students on the autism spectrum.

Three years of experience in a dynamic mental health setting with demonstrated ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience providing psychological services to traditionally marginalized populations, such as students of color, international students, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender students, and students with disabilities.
Experience consulting with faculty and staff on issues relevant to student educational performance and emotional well-being. Candidate will be able to effectively communicate across a dynamic learning community.Qualifications:
Reporting to the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services, the successful candidate will be a highly qualified, enthusiastic, and thoughtful psychologist able to provide direct service to RIT students in order to effectively address both normal developmental concerns and complex mental health issues.
In addition to the usual responsibilities of a generalist practitioner that include intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and brief individual and group counseling and psychotherapy, this position will take seriously the impact of marginalized identities, experiences of inequality, and experiences of oppression and privilege on mental health.
This position requires supervision of graduate interns and clinical staff seeking licensure/advanced degree as well as consultation and educational outreach services across all campus constituencies.
The role requires effective coordination of care with psychiatric, case management, and other treatment service teams. Maintenance of appropriate documentation in an electronic record-keeping system is required.
