- Security assessments: Identifying vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance, and recommending mitigation strategies
- System security design: Defining, validating, and implementing secure architectures and components for various environments
- Integration & implementation: Building and integrating secure systems, adhering to government security policies and standards
- Security architecture support: Assisting in building and enforcing secure connections between internal and external systems
- Threat & risk management: Assessing, mitigating, and contributing to security planning, risk analysis, and awareness activities
- Documentation & compliance: Reviewing and providing feedback on certification documents, ensuring compliance with regulations
- 14 years of experience as an ISSE on similar projects
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field or (4 years of ISSE experience can substitute degree)
- DoD M compliance with IASAE Level
- CISSP or CASP certification required
