Description
"What does a CNC machinist do?
"Simply remove all the mechanical parts that do not belong to the desired component" - this description may sound simple, but it does not do justice to the profession of a CNC machinist. The job title itself provides a crucial hint - chips are involved: although they do not use a plane, they turn, mill, drill, and grind. CNC machinists manufacture individual metal components for various steel and metal products, creating highly precise workpieces. Nowadays, computer-controlled (CNC) machines are mostly used for this purpose. Their tasks also include carefully planning and preparing processes and procedures. This requires the ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
What can you expect at UMAREX?

You will be responsible for producing parts from steel, aluminum, or zinc die-casting, setting up the necessary turning and milling machines, and programming the controlling CNC software.

This will involve moving between the required CNC machines and your workbench. While the machines are running, you will need to monitor the production processes.

Afterwards, you will inspect the finished parts for accuracy and quality, and if there are any malfunctions, you will need to identify and resolve them.

Regular maintenance and inspection work is also part of machine care.
What do we expect from you?
In addition to a good technical understanding, manual dexterity is essential, as well as attention to detail and precision
