What would you look forward to in this role?Supports new product launches, continuous improvement activities, and ongoing technology evaluations through the development and implementation of efficient molding processes.
Partner with the Engineering team to optimize manufacturing processes, troubleshoot issues, improve product quality, and implement cost-effective solutions to enhance productivity and efficiency.
What key responsibilities would you assume in this role?Process Optimization:Continuously analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and quality. Develop and implement strategies to optimize processes and reduce waste.
Troubleshooting:
Investigate and resolve process-related issues to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify underlying problems and implement corrective actions.
Quality Assurance:
Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure that products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement measures to improve product consistency and reliability.
Equipment Maintenance:
Work closely with maintenance teams to develop and execute preventative maintenance plans for production equipment. Ensure that machinery is properly maintained to minimize breakdowns and maximize uptime.
Continuous Improvement:
Drive a culture of continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing plant. Lead or participate in cross-functional teams to implement Lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
Data Analysis:
Collect and analyze data related to process performance, production output, and quality metrics. Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive process improvements.
Training and Documentation:
Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for production staff on new processes, equipment, and procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of process parameters, standard operating procedures, and change management records. RequirementsWhat is needed to thrive in this role?
