    Process Engineer

    We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Greenwood team


    As our Process Engineer, you will be a part of the production team in our Surface Technologies facility, specializing in Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO).


    You will be a part of the Project Development and Industrialization team, working hands on with our Production team in Greenwood, IN, as well as around the world.

    This is a great opportunity for you to learn about the PEO technology while building your manufacturing experience.

    Your Challenge:


    Working hands-on with the team to develop customer projects, creating documentation, including working instructions and workmanship standards; and industrializing the projects at hand.

    Working with the production staff on the floor to ensure process documents are followed and providing technical support.
    Troubleshooting problems associated with the manufacturing process.
    Communicate with customer engineering and quality teams to resolve problems.
    Working with QA department to assist with internal and external audits as required.
    Improve existing operations for increase quality, productivity, efficiency, and cost savings.


    What You Bring:
    1-2 years of manufacturing experience
    Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement
    CAD /AutoCAD
    Being a team player
    Ability to travel in the US and Internationally up to 50%


    Preferred:
    Experience quoting projects for new customers
    Knowledge or experience problem solving using 8D and statistical methods
    Experience with non-ferrous coatings (surface modifications)
