Production Associate III


Location:
State College, PA

Duration: 6 months

Title - Assembler

Tentative start date - asap

Tentative end date - end of 2024

Work shift (days/times) - 1st Shift from 6am to 2:30pm est


Job Description:


Performs limited electronic, electromechanical, mechanical and support production assembly and functions of a repetitive nature to build and assemble routine units.


Job Duties:

  • Handle small, delicate parts with a high degree of accuracy to perform routine tasks in preparation for assembly.
  • Follow method sheets to ensure documented and controlled processes are followed to assemble various electronic components.
  • Perform a variety of electromechanical assembly operations by using common hand tools such as: Wire strippers, wrenches, screwdrivers, plyers and using small hand tools and soldering equipment.
  • May operate automatic and semiautomatic assembly/production equipment.
  • Notifies group leader or supervisor of quality or other issues.
  • May need to complete other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must have good hand eye coordination while using a microscope.
  • Must be able to sit or stand at a workstation for extended periods of time and complete tasks using a microscope.
  • The ability to follow both verbal and written instructions along with strong communication skills.
  • Capability to use a computer and enter accurate data. Microsoft Office experience is a plus.
  • Being flexible to changing needs of the business and department and will work overtime as needed.
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Organized, work independently with minimum supervision and ability to work in fast paced environments.
  • Able to sit and work under a microscope for extended periods of time.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

  • General office/manufacturing environment.
  • Potential exposure to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools.
  • Requires manual dexterity and ability to manipulate small objects.

Job Type:

Pay:
$21.43 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift

Experience:

- production assembly: 2 years (required)

- electromechanical/electronic/mechanical: 1 year (required)


  • Manufacturing: 1 year (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • State College, PA 16803: Relocate before starting work (required)
