Clinica Sierra Vista, accredited by the rigorous Joint Commission, serves patients at 31 health centers in Fresno and Kern counties.

Provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management, diagnostic review, and psychopharm services for the out-patient clinics.Consults with a multidisciplinary team of CSV mental health providers regarding psychiatric aspects of the patients care.
Maintains electronic medical records, including medication lists and e-prescribing.
Adheres to the highest standards of medical ethics at all times.
Assures quality of care for all patients at all times and regularly participates in clinic Peer Review and Quality Assurance Programs.
Provides phone-triage/consultation in rare emergent situations afterhours.May be required to supervise psychiatric mid-level personnel, including RNs, NP's and Physicians Assistant's on-site and by telephone with outlying clinic sites.
Required to see appointment and walk-in patients as scheduled.School Medication forms, JV220, SSI, medical clearance for SUD OP participation, etc.
Reviews lab results for patients managed at the health center
Provides prescriptions refills for patients managed at the health center
May assist the CMO in design, implementation, and evaluation of psychiatric health care programs/protocols for patients and staff.
Satisfactory completion of four (4) year residency training program in Psychiatry approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology AND valid license to practice medicine issued by the State of California.
Completion of a residency training program and a valid California State License are required at the time of appointment.A knowledge of general medicine and psychiatry; current developments in the field of psychiatry; hospital and clinic organization management and procedures.
