Responsibilities:

We are seeking a Cash Applications Specialist to join our team. The primary focus of this position will be to process customer payments and record updated balances and deposits.


Key Job Responsibilities:


  • Process customer cash, checks, and electronic payments
  • Identify and allocate all payments and ensure that all cash is posted and distributed
  • Responsible for processing electronic and manual remittance transactions
  • Research and Reconcile discrepancies and account claims
  • Maintain proper communication with customers and Collectors
  • Maintain excel reports
  • Answer inquiries both internal and external regarding payments and balances
  • Reconcile daily cash balance
  • Assist with Accounts receivables
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Preferred Qualification:


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Basic skills in excel, word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail and deadlineoriented
  • 10key by touch, data entry, and research experience required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Team Player

Physical Demands:
Typical 9-hour day to include driving and frequent computer (iPad) usage for call reports.

To perform the duties of this job the employee must have a clean driving record and be able to sit for long periods of time.

The occasional heavy lifting of 50lbs or more may be required.

Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
