    Overview

    CHI Health and Creighton University School of Medicine are seeking Geriatric Psychiatrists to join their expanding department in Omaha, Nebraska. The role offers a range of practice options to align with your career aspirations.

    Responsibilities

    • Patient Care:
    • Diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions
    • Development and execution of holistic treatment plans
    • Comprehensive medical examinations and histories
    • Communication:
    • Effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams
    • Provision of clear and concise medical information
    • Promotion of collaborative and patient-centric healthcare approach
    • Documentation:
    • Maintenance of accurate patient records
    • Recording of medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans
    • Compliance with coding and billing regulations
    • Diagnostic Procedures:
    • Ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests like lab work and imaging
    • Performance of necessary procedures
    • Collaboration with specialists for comprehensive diagnosis
    • Team Collaboration:
    • Cooperation with nurses, specialists, and healthcare professionals
    • Involvement in interdisciplinary team meetings and case reviews
    • Provision of consultative services to fellow healthcare providers
    • Quality Improvement:
    • Engagement in quality assurance and enhancement projects
    • Evaluation and analysis of clinical outcomes for ongoing improvement
    • Application of changes to elevate patient care and safety
    • Compliance:
    • Adherence to ethical and legal standards in medical field
    • Awareness of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
    • Participation in quality audits to ensure adherence to protocols
    • Continuous Learning:
    • Keeping updated on medical advancements and best practices
    • Participation in continuous medical education and training programs
    • Contribution to refinement of clinical protocols and guidelines

    Qualifications

    • Board Certification or Eligibility in Specified Medical Specialty
    • Valid and unhindered state medical license or eligibility for licensure

    Salary Range

    $132.22 per hour
