Details About the FirmHalk, Oetinger, And Brown, PLLC was founded in 2006 and we represent hundreds of homeowner associations across Arizona. We engage primarily in real estate law, contracts, debt collection, and litigation. We regularly work with local, state, and federal law in our practice.
Prior experience in a law firm working with civil cases, bankruptcy cases, and actions in Superior Court or Justice Court are a plus.
Examples of Essential DutiesDuties may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Learning the firm's software collection program.
- Reviewing case files.
- Assemble motions, exhibits, and other documents to prepare for filing with the court.
- Process records and enter data on forms and into data systems, ensuring forms or reports are complete, accurate, and filed.
- Possess a high level of attention to detail in reviewing notes and motions.
- Operates office equipment including copy machines, scanners, fax machines, computers, printers, and other equipment.
- Performs other similar or related duties which may not be specifically included within this position description but which are consistent with the general level of the job and the responsibilities described.
Ability to:
- Take accurate messages and relay them quickly and efficiently.
- Appropriately respond to requests and inquiries from the general public or other departments.
- Understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
- Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
- Establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships at all organizational levels as well as with the public.
- Display a high degree of maturity, integrity and good judgment.
- Maintain the confidentiality of information.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Hold a High School diploma or equivalent.
License, Certificate, Registration Requirements:
- None required.
- Prior law office or paralegal experience is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Make fine visual distinctions upon proofreading written documents and viewing information on a computer screen.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Possess the ability to operate a computer and other standard office equipment.
- Digital dexterity to assemble, retrieve and replace files.
- Frequent and ongoing use of a telephone and computer terminal.
- Resume in PDF format.

Pay:
From $16.00 per hour
