Lead Plant Accountant - Cranberry, United States - PPG
Description
As a Lead Plant Accountant, you will provide financial support to 6 service plants for the USCA Coatings Services SBU.
You will join forces with the Plant Managers to provide insightful analytical data to lead optimal productivity and maximum profitability at each site.
The sites are located across Ohio, Indiana, Iowa, and Illinois. You can be located within Lima, OH or our Cranberry, PA offices. You will report to the Global Financial Services Manager.Key Responsibilities
Develop and sustain strong internal controls.
Review and update Key Controls Document annually through Audit Board.
Guide and coordinate annual physical inventories.
Complete month-end financial closing responsibilities, including financial reporting and deviation analysis.
Develop monthly estimates and annual budget (profit plan) for each plant.
Complete and submit Authorizations for Capital Transactions (ACT) and year-end schedules.
Complete and submit year-end schedules.
Provide support for audits within the plants Team structure.
Travel as required to visit plant sites.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field, with at least 3 years of general accounting experience is required.
Relevant month-end closing, estimates and budget experience.
Previous experience working with several accounting applications such as Oracle, Power BI, HFM, SAP, or other similar software.
Proficiency with Microsoft Suite is required.
