    Description
    Full-Time - Van Driver - Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT)

    JYL is hiring Van Drivers to transport special needs children and adults to and from day programs, medical appointments, and around their communities.

    As a Van Driver, you will be a vital member of the JYL Transportation team.
    *Full time hours with OT opportunity

    • The van goes home with you
    • 401(k) plan option, Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, & Company Paid Life Insurance, Vacation Time, Paid Holidays
    *Have 3 or more years of consecutive driving experience.

    • Possess an active Driver's License with safe driving record.
    • Must enjoy working with children and elderly, and always possess the ability to show patience and empathy.
    *Safely operate a variety of vehicles, including sedans, mini-vans, full size passenger vans, and wheelchair vans.

    • This includes helping them enter and exit the vehicle, using the vehicle's lap and shoulder belts, and safely securing them in car seats and booster seats.
    • Communicate effectively and clearly with special needs children/adults, parents, program staff, and the elderly.
