    Job Title: Van Driver at NRT Bus


    • Being a Van Driver for NRT Bus offers you competitive compensation and essential benefits.

    By joining us, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children in your community by safely transporting them to school.



    What We Offer:


    • 20-25 hours per week
    • $19/Hour Effective August 27, 2023
    • Split Shifts: 5:30am-9:00am & 1:00pm-5:00pm (actual hours vary based on assigned route)
    • No commute - The van goes home with you (if you have secure parking)
    • 401(k) plan option, Dental, Vision, & Company Paid Life Insurance
    • Paid classroom and on-the-job training

    Requirements:


    • Age 21+ & have held a driver's license for 3+ consecutive years
    • Satisfactory Driving Record
    • Ability to pass background checks
    • A school pupil transport license (7D certificate)

    *Easy to obtain and we will guide you through the process*



    What You'll Be Doing:


    • Safely operate various vehicles to transport school-aged children
    • Assist students as necessary with entering and exiting the vehicle, buckling up, and securing them in car seats
    • Communicate clearly in English with students, parents, teachers, and staff
    • Utilize effective communication skills with a two-way radio system

    As part of the Beacon Mobility Family of Companies, NRT Bus collaborates with school districts to deliver exceptional transportation services for special needs students, ensuring their individual needs are met each day.



    Job Type: Part-time
    Pay: $19.00 per hour
