Accountant

Our client is an organization in the greater Columbus area looking for an
Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. Our client is looking for someone with accounting experience and a willingness to learn.

The salary range for this position is $55k-65k.

The
Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts.
Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling customer accounts.
Prepare and distribute monthly financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with established deadlines.
Reconcile vendor statements.
Other duties and projects as assigned.

The
Accountant will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
2+ years of accounting experience preferred.
Strong problem solving and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Ability to work onsite with hybrid flexibility on a perneeded basis.
