This position will be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating the safety, health and environmental objectives, materials and environments to achieve safety management effectiveness for the Market. This position will facilitate and maintain ABM EH&S programs and solutions in support of those objectives as well as support and drive national and region strategic initiatives.
**Essential Functions**
+ Implement and evaluate safety efforts that effectively communicate and support company policies in a consistent manner with a key focus on incident prevention and loss abatement.
+ Conduct on-site risk assessments and job hazard analysis to identify potential hazards to our employees, clients, the public, and environment.
+ Design and implement controls to mitigate identified risks.
+ Enforce policy, provide coaching, get expectations and provide resources to the operating team to sustain successful operations.
+ Conduct accident investigations, identify root causes and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
+ Maintain compliance with all OSHA Recordkeeping requirements, including but limited to, OSHA 300 logs, training records and others compliance programs requirements specified in 29 CFR 1910 and 1926, where applicable.
+ Facilitate implementation of safe work techniques, effective safety methods and processes, evaluating performance management, training and regulatory compliance.
+ Lead regularly scheduled safety audits, risk assessments, inspections, training and meetings to determine the effectiveness of safety and accident prevention activities.
+ Drive the evolution of the organizations safety culture by ensuring that all business strategies and safety initiatives align with the organizations vision, mission and goals.
+ Maintain knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations at all levels of government, including federal, state and local and possess the ability to evaluate, document and report on compliance with policies, procedures, rules and regulations to ensure operational compliance.
+ Successful implementation of injury reduction initiatives.
+ Actively partner with Ops and provide needed support.
+ Design and implement controls to mitigate identified risks.
+ Enforce policy, recognize desired behaviors or provide coaching to Ops.
+ Align market priorities with organizational goals and objectives.
+ Special projects and other duties as assigned.
**Required Qualifications**
+ Must have a valid driver's license for at least a year with zero points on their MVR record for at least two years.
+ must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Must be able to obtain an Airport SIDA badge and customs clearance.
**_Education:_**
+ Bachelors degree in business, occupational health, related field, or equivalent experience.
**_Experience:_**
+ 5+ years of experience, including experience in safety or risk management.
**_Other:_**
+ Ability to effectively support a large multi-site workforce.
+ Self-starter and works well independently and as part of a Team.
+ Working knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations.
+ Ability to compile technical data and prepare technical and analytical reports.
+ Ability to develop and conduct effective health, safety and environmental training programs and meetings.
+ Skilled in project management, problem-solving techniques and communicating ideas and instructions clearly.
+ Skilled in directing activities and operations of others, including activities involving hazardous situations.
+ Deep knowledge of a wide range of analytics approaches including descriptive analytics and dashboarding, linear and nonlinear regression, machine learning, operations research / optimization.
+ Can quickly dive deep on business challenges and formulate then as data and analytics problems that can be solved by standard approaching using descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics.
+ Skills in relationship-building, teamwork, and collaboration.
+ Positive attitude with a strong desire to learn and a continuous improvement mind-set.
+ Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
+ Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
+ Working knowledge of general office equipment.
