JOB PURPOSE
Synexa collaborates with clients in Glen Echo, MD to provide customized, flexible, and comprehensive biomarker solutions.

Our team uses innovative methods and validated equipment to address specific biomarker questions at every level of the biological continuum.

The scientific team at Synexa is at the forefront of this work, responsible for developing and validating bioanalytical tests to meet the needs of the company and its clients.


Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain a clean and organized laboratory space.
  • Properly use and maintain laboratory instruments.
  • Support laboratory operations by performing maintenance on instruments.
  • Monitor and track usage of reagents, materials, and consumables through a laboratory management system (LIMS).
  • Conduct routine production assays using various biological samples, following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and validated protocols with minimal supervision.
  • Process samples, including dilutions, plate loading, and performing assays.
  • Ensure accurate recordkeeping by performing quality control on all generated data and information.
  • Assist with multiple projects in a fastpaced laboratory environment.
  • Adhere to regulatory compliance and safety requirements, including good clinical laboratory practices (GCLP), SOPs, health and safety policies, and other related documents.
  • Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining study documentation.
  • Occasionally work on a rotating shift schedule and weekends.
