Description

Maintenance Assistant
Assists the Department Director in installations and repairs. Assists in planning, scheduling, repair work, such as refrigeration, air conditioning, plumbing, masonry, carpentry, painting, electrical work, and gardening. Sketches plans, reads and interprets blue prints and manufacturers specifications. May assist in computing cost for jobs for budgetary purposes.

Assists in maintaining records of all maintenance and may substitute for one of the Geri-Psych crew during emergencies and transportation of patients for the Geriatric Program.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • At least five years experience in two or more building crafts, such as plumbing, electrical wiring and carpentry.
