    Quality Leader required for rapidly growing Weapons Manufacturing/Sporting Good FirmLocation:Executive TeamBurlington, VT

    Job Summary:

    A rapidly growing Weapons Manufacturing/Sporting Goods Firm is searching for an experienced Quality Leader to be an integral part in building and developing their quality function.

    The Quality Manager will be responsible for optimizing production processes while minimizing defects/error in the manufacturing and assembly process.

    Reporting directly to the COO and working side by side with the Director of Operations, the Manager will oversee a team of 8 to ensure the highest standards of Quality and being practiced throughout the organization.


    Responsibilities of the Quality Leader:
    Create and provide QA support to product development and manufacturing team by resolving problems, defects, errors, etc.

    to ensure each product meets the required specificationsGenerate and maintain quality reports which highlight KPI's and specific areas for improvementEstablish all quality performance metricsUtilize LEAN manufacturing principles such as 5S to foster a world class Quality procedures in all assigned sites.


    Conduct consistent audits to monitor and adhere to specific quality standardsDetermine root cause based off specific product quality issues and implement corrective action to eliminate/reduce causeAnalyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and qualityLead the organization to ensure ISO 9001 compliance is maintained as well as corrective action programsQualifications for the Ideal Quality Leader:10+ years of Quality experience in a relevant manufacturing environmentBS Degree required in Engineering or other Technical fieldMasters degree a plusQuality Management certification a plusExperience managing cross functional teams over multiple facilitiesCertification as a LEAN/Six Sigma Yellow, Green, or Black belt a plus.

    Strong technical background with a track-record of problem solving and process developmentExperience managing projects across various functions and operationsProven ability to implement quality systems to help improve efficiency in multiple facilitiesApply Now#J-18808-Ljbffr
