Training as an electrical installation technician for 2024

As an electrical installation technician at SWSZ Netz GmbH, you will be responsible for ensuring that electricity reaches our customers. You will be working on construction sites, in substations, transformer stations, in the network, or directly with the customer.

What will you learn?
  • You will learn the basics of electronics and electrical engineering.
  • You will learn how to install energy systems.
  • You will learn how to commission, maintain, and repair electrical systems.
Your tasks at SWSZ Netz GmbH
  • You will install and commission energy distribution systems for electricity.
  • You will maintain and repair systems and equipment in the field of energy technology.
  • You will troubleshoot issues in the power grid.
  • You will change meters.
  • You will work in the area of low and medium voltage and conduct inspections of transformer systems.
  • You will support construction projects.
Your qualifications
  • Good secondary school diploma.
  • Good grades in mathematics, physics, and technical education.
  • Interest in technology and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to work in a team and independently.
  • Physical fitness according to the job requirements.
