Duties & Responsibilities

Perform lab work related to various research projects (e.g., sample prep, DNA extraction, PCR, library prep, qPCR, hormone assays, etc)
Perform fieldwork related to various research projects (e.g., behavioral observations, trapping, tagging, sample/data collection, etc.)
Disseminate research findings by preparing and submitting manuscripts for publication in peerreviewed journals and presenting results at conferences

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Biostats related/adjacent programming skills (e.g., R)

Minimum Qualifications

PhD in Biology, Ecology or a related field upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in genomics (labwork and bioinformatics)
Experience in fieldwork (especially small mammals
