    We are looking for exceptional Field Service Engineers to join our team

    Krauss-Maffei Corporation has established itself as a key player in the North American market for plastics processing machines since its inception in 1966. As we continue to provide successful support to our long-standing customers, we aim to expand our team with talented professionals.

    Job Overview

    Join us in providing technical troubleshooting support to customers, ensuring the repair, installation, and replacement of Krauss Maffei equipment both over the phone and at their locations.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assure product performance meets customer requirements
    • Offer technical advice on product application
    • Conduct training and service programs for product operation and maintenance
    • Independently handle complex technical issues
    • Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve problems on Krauss Maffei equipment
    • Proficient in control systems
    • Manage special projects with proper documentation
    • Train less experienced personnel
    • Maintain positive customer relations

    Work Environment and Physical Demands

    This position requires working at customer sites and may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts. The role demands physical activity and the ability to lift items over 50 pounds. Vision and alertness are crucial for this role.

    Working Hours and Travel

    This is a full-time position with standard working hours Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime. Significant travel is involved, including potential international trips for training or conferences.

    Qualifications

    • Associates Degree in Technical field and 3-5 years of relevant experience in the electrical field
    • Strong Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
