Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Upholsterer to join our team at Landry Home Decorating. We have been a small family business for 3 generations.

As an Upholsterer, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling upholstery components for various projects, including commerical and residential work.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong sewing skills and the ability to work with both power and hand tools.

Responsibilities:

• Measure, cut, and sew fabric or leather materials to create upholstery components
• Use power tools and hand tools to assemble and install upholstery components
• Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Skills:

• Proficient in sewing techniques, including the use of a sewing machine
• Knowledge of power tools and hand tools used in upholstery work
• Ability to fabricate and assemble upholstery components according to specifications
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain highquality standards
• Strong problemsolving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise
• Expertise in padding, webbing, and spring repairs

Key Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in upholstery.
• Proficient Sewing skills
• A reliable team player who is supportive and adaptable.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to craftmanship.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, maintaining a neat and safe workspace.
