    Role: SCADA Engineer

    Location: Houston, TX

    VISA: Not offering sponsorship.

    Relocation: Offered

    Type: 4 days on-site. Remote Fridays.

    The responsibilities of the SCADA Engineer encompass designing, implementing, and maintaining SCADA systems, with a focus on deploying automation technologies to boost operational efficiency, cut expenses, and maintain safety protocols.

    You will work on technical projects, collaborating closely with contractors from project inception to conclusion, and delivering outstanding customer support to SCADA system users are integral aspects of this role.

    I am looking for a junior-level candidate, but I am open to other experience as well.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assess and refine logic in Allen-Bradley PLCs, ROCs, and ABB Totalflows for optimal control and measurement in the field.
    • Engage in both ongoing and new projects, spanning the entire lifecycle from design through documentation, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted availability of SCADA systems.
    • Implementation of enterprise SCADA systems across all operational sectors.
    • Coordinate rigorous testing of new solutions or modifications to existing ones to ensure integrity and excellence.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required
    • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
    • Experience with Ignition SCADA
    • Proficiency in control system design
    • Sound understanding of components for PLC-based control systems
    • Familiarity with VFDs and PID control loops.
    • Experience with Automation Direct PLC, Allen-Bradley PLC, and Siemens PLC products.
    • Knowledge of programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python is a plus
