Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team.

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery to produce high-quality products.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

  • Ability to test material in your work area
  • Responsible for equipment and to assure equipment is kept on top condition
  • Make sure you prepare your job for the next shift so that there is a smooth transition of work
  • Must adhere to all TSW safety procedures and wear all safety equipment
  • Do daily preventive maintenance checks on all equipment operated
  • Must keep your work area neat, clean and safe place to work
  • Learn to setup the machine correctly and completely (in a timely manner)
  • Evaluate product straightness, diameter, length and identification of tags that are involved with each machine
  • Must follow instruction on the correct way to run the machine
  • Must be able to help out other operators when needed
  • Must check all tags for correct material being processed
  • Must band all orders correctly using the correct materials
  • Must have the ability to get along with fellow employees and subordinates, if applicable
  • Responsible to identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and the quality system
  • Responsible to initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels
  • Responsible to control further processing, delivery or installation of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected
  • Must have good organizational skills

  • In addition to the above job assignment, all others required by management

Experience:


  • Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role preferred
  • Proficiency in programming and operating machines
  • Familiarity with CAM programming is a plus
  • Strong mathematical skills for basic calculations and measurements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Knowledge of quality control principles and practices
  • Experience with tooling selection and maintenance
