Local travel will be in Southern California within 2 1⁄2 hours of Los Angeles County.Position Purpose: The effective execution of the Account Executive role is critical to the success of the Health Net Commercial Organization. Our Account Executive's primary role is to drive growth through new member sales. To meet these growth goals, our Account Executives must be actively engaged in the market to not only present our evolving value proposition but also develop strong personal relationships with our broker and GA partners.Achieve member growth goals by effectively managing the pre-sale process and through the assiduous follow up on quoted opportunities as recorded in the system of record, SFDC;
Communicate HN's evolving value proposition through the delivery of value proposition presentations based on the following cadence:Quarterly—Tier 1 brokers and Gas;
Bi-annually—Tier 2 brokers;
Annually—Tier 3 brokers.
Account Executives need to be a consistent market presence which is achieved by making this a daily priority. This is accomplished by having live, preferably in-person, meetings with brokers. For 2023, AEs are required to have 3 meetings each week with brokers and Gas outside of their follow up on presale and quoted activity;
Understanding that personal relationships drive our business, AEs will develop a list of the most influential individuals in their assignment, develop, and then execute a relationship development plan;
As referenced above, our system of record is SFDC relative to the above-referenced Responsibilities and Duties. Account Executives are best positioned for success when SFDC is updated on a continuous basis. SFDC compliance will be evaluated on a weekly basis;
Account Executives are critical relative to our goal of being an information source that our brokers and Gas gravitate to. This is accomplished through delivery of monthly Account Executive Newsletters to a self-maintained, comprehensive distribution list and LinkedIn updates (as outlined by their people leaders);
Account Executives are required to meet all of the Centene, Health Net, and those additional training requirements as prescribed by your people leader.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum two to three years successful sales experience in the health care field with a proven track record.
For Medicare/Commercial Solutions: Must have a valid driver's license. Travel up to 40%
License/Certification: Active, valid and unrestricted State Life, Health & Disability license
Pay range: $94,900 to $171,000 per year
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. The employee may be eligible for bonuses and other forms of compensation.
