Electronics technicians specializing in energy and building technology (m/f/d) plan electrical systems for buildings as well as their energy supply and infrastructure. They install the systems, put them into operation and maintain or repair them if necessary. They install, for example, fuses and connections for washing machines and stoves, building control systems and data networks, or control and regulation systems. For this purpose, they create control programs, define parameters, measure electrical quantities and test the systems.

YOUR TASKS

You will gain theoretical and practical knowledge about electrical energy supply.
You will learn about the variety of electrical systems in buildings such as power connections, air conditioning systems, and data and telecommunications networks.
You will qualify to create and test your own control programs.
You will plan and install fuses and connections for washing machines, stoves, lighting systems, gate drives, and building control systems.
You will plan and install controls for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
