Description

Senior Accountant plays a vital role in supporting the plant's financial objectives and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Managing general accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and providing financial analysis are all key responsibilities that require a solid understanding of GAAP principles and attention to detail. Additionally, effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for working within the plant team and ensuring smooth coordination between departments.

Responsibilities, Duties and Expectations:

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions for the plant.
• Perform month-end account reconciliations.
• Review and analyze monthly financial statements.
• Inventory accounting and monthly reconciliations.
• Prepare operational and financial reports for management.

Additional Qualifications:

• Solid recent experience with ERP software
• 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Manufacturing industry experience a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid judgment skills and ability to work independently.
• Team player with a positive attitude; flexible to adapt to changing needs/priorities.
