Job Summary

The Thomson Lab has an opening for a Research Technician with a strong background in machine learning, neural computation, applied math and computer science.

Essential Job Duties

Work with PhD students in developing paradigms for studying the dynamics of language use and communication within populations of large language model agents.
Assist in the development and scaling of code for implementing language games within this context.
Develop mathematical strategies and code for studying internal representations of language and reasoning within individual and communicating language models.

Basic Qualifications

BS degree.
One year of relevant work experience.
Experience with Python, Pytorch, Adam Optimizer and neural network theory.
