Overview:
Join our team as a Pick and Packer in our dynamic warehouse environment.

As a Pick and Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient packaging and shipment of products.

Picker Packers works in warehouse filling orders and assisting with the inventory. They work closely with carrier/vendors, and warehouse associates to pick and process orders as they come in.

They must be familiar with the layout of the warehouse, inventory and be able to pick and move items as requested.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload materials onto packaging equipment
• Perform packaging duties following set procedures and guidelines
• Assist in order fulfillment by preparing packages for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:

• Experience in a warehouse setting is preferred
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as reach trucks or cherry pickers is a plus
• Familiarity with materials handling and package labeling
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate packaging
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Core activities:

• Understand receiving and shipping process.
• Manually unload deliveries and sort all the packages by customer and store into the assigned rack.
• Generate receipt, label materials, and upload related documentation into the system.
• Accurately stage and sort products for loading.
• Sorts and places parts in racks or other designated areas.
• Accurately match numbers & letters of the orders provided.
• Move materials within the warehouse.
• Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system.
• Reads and understand customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Ensure all receipts are entered into system.
• Coordinate with Customer if necessary.
• Build shipping orders, pack pallets and repack damaged pallets based on customer requirements (if applicable).

Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
