Haysville is currently working with a customer in the logistics and manufacturing industry and is seeking a highly skilled data engineer.

The ideal candidate will have experience in building and optimizing data pipelines using Databricks or Apache Spark.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data pipelines on Azure, as well as collaborating with teams to integrate data and support analytics.

As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing products for our customers and stakeholders.

The office is located in Dusseldorf and the position requires 2 days per week (40%) in the office.


Salary:
€70,000 - €90,000 depending on experience


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Proven experience in data engineering
  • Experience with Azure services, Databricks/Spark, and Airflow
  • Beneficial but not required: experience with IaaS, Terraform, or DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong problemsolving and communication skills

Preferred:

  • Experience with ADF, Data Factory, and Databricks
  • Azure, Databricks, or Spark certifications are a plus
  • Fluent in German and English
