TOUR - 12:00 A.M - 8:00 A.M

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Check in and register all incoming patients in EPIC using Check 2/15 for identification purposes.
Greet Patients.
Greet Visitors and follow the process for visitation, not limited to giving guest passes to visit patients.
Answer telephones and transfer to appropriate staff members.
Provide limited information to callers regarding patients.
Scan documents into EPIC.
Perform palm vein scanning.
Be able to work with other disciplines in the Emergency Department.
Be able to direct patients to other disciplines when requested and appropriate (i.e. SW, Managed Care).
Be able and available to stay at work when staffing requires it.
Follow all HIPAA rules.
Collect Copayments from patients when appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

A high school diploma or its educational equivalent; and
Six (6) months of full-time satisfactory clerical experience and/or experience interacting with the public, such as processing sales; taking, processing, and delivering orders; obtaining and dispensing information; listening to and resolving customers concerns, problems, and complaints; and/or performing related customer service activities.
