The position we have open is part time and is for Saturdays and Sundays - 1pm to 6pm.

Dog Daycare Attendant


Duties:

• Supervise and monitor the behavior and interactions of dogs in the daycare facility.
• Engage in playtime activities with dogs, including interactive games and exercise.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all dogs in the facility, including monitoring for any signs of distress or aggression.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the daycare area, including cleaning up after dogs and sanitizing surfaces.
• Assist with feeding and administering medications to dogs as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting is preferred.
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including those that may be anxious or aggressive.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform heavy lifting, as some dogs may require assistance or transport.
• Knowledge of basic dog behavior and body language, as well as an understanding of dog health and safety practices.
• Ability to multitask effectively.

Pay:
$ $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
