As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for young children.

• Assist the lead teacher in implementing ageappropriate lesson plans and activities
• Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs, including those with autism or behavioral challenges
• Collaborate with the lead teacher to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
• Help supervise students during indoor and outdoor activities
• Support students in developing social skills and promoting positive peer interactions
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment
• Provide assistance with daily routines, such as mealtime, naptime, and toileting
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise

• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
• Understanding of child development milestones and appropriate teaching strategies
• Experience working with students, particularly in Montessori or daycare/preschool settings
• Ability to implement behavior management techniques effectively
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with children on an individual level
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the classroom
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
