    Big Nick's Auto is looking to hire an experienced mechanic with at least 4 years' experience.

    We are a high pace shop looking for a mechanic that's motivated to work You are required to have your own tools, must be able to work independently, must be on time and dependable.

    We are a full-service shop that works on all makes and models. Our shop is located at 5574 S. Gibraltar way in centennial. We offer competitive pay based on experience, raises regularly, paid holidays, IRA plans, incentive bonuses. $500 sign on bonus The full sign on bonus is given after 6 months of employment.
    An excellent auto mechanic has good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity. They are well-versed in complex mechanical or electronical systems of vehicles and have excellent problem-solving abilities. They must also be good communicators to provide advice to customers.
    ResponsibilitiesInspect vehicle engine and

    mechanical/electrical


    components to diagnose issues accuratelyInspect vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgradeConduct routine maintenance work (replacing fluids, lubricating parts etc.) aiming to vehicle functionality and longevitySchedule future maintenance sessions and advise motorists on good vehicle useRepair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g.

    leaks)Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance jobKeep logs on work and issuesMaintain equipment and tools in good conditionRequirements and skillsProven experience as auto mechanicExcellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehiclesWorking knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methodsAbility to handle various tools (e.g.

    pliers) and heavy equipment (e.g. lift)Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.

    Excellent physical conditionHigh school diploma is preferred; Certification from a vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is preferredValid certification (e.g ASE) is a definite plusCompany Description We are a family-owned business.
