    Role Overview


    We are seeking a Technical Product Manager with a strong background in FinTech or banking to lead our API integration projects with core banking systems.

    The ideal candidate will possess deep technical knowledge and a proven track record of successfully managing and executing complex product initiatives.

    This role requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define product specifications, develop roadmaps, and drive the deployment of scalable and secure API solutions.

    As a key liaison between technical teams and external partners, the Technical Product Manager will ensure clear communication of project goals, manage expectations, and oversee the product lifecycle from conception through launch.

    Responsibilities


    • Infuses the Patch Values into your work ethic, every day, and every interaction.
    • Lead the strategic planning and execution of API integration projects, ensuring seamless connectivity with core banking systems and third-party services.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and business, to define product requirements, roadmaps, and deployment strategies.
    • Utilize deep technical knowledge and previous experience in FinTech or banking to guide the development of robust, secure, and scalable API solutions.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between the technical team and external partners, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication of project goals and milestones.
    • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation through launch and iteration, prioritizing features and functionality based on user feedback and business objectives.
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for API services, including technical specifications, integration guides, and use case examples.
    • Analyze performance metrics and user feedback to continuously refine and improve API offerings, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of customers and partners.
    • Foster an agile development environment, facilitating sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups to drive productivity and innovation within the team.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Qualifications

    1. 7+ years product management experience, preferably in a technical role for a SaaS product.


    • Bachelor's Degree required, with bonus points for a degreed in a technical field such as Computer Science or Mathematics.
    • Strong technical background, including experience managing and deploying APIs.
    • Experience managing projects with external partners and vendors.
    • Strong project management skills and a results-oriented mindset.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas to a diverse audience.
    • Ideal candidate would have previous experience in banking, financial services, or FinTech space.
    • Must be legally allowed to work in the U.S.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Sitting for extended periods of time; approximately 5-6 hours per day
    • Simultaneous use of hand, wrist and fingers
    • Daily operation of standard office equipment
    • Frequent use of oral communication to perform work
    • Lifts and moves up to 20 pounds occasionally
