    **Social Media Event Coordinator**

    McKinney, Texas, US Job number: 13153 **Job Description:**

    The Social Media Event Coordinator oversees community management and events from a social media standpoint for our corporate brands through travel to local, national, and international locations. This dynamic individual innovates creative, event specific attendee experiences while providing training and education opportunities. The Social Media Event Coordinator, under the direction of the Social Media Manager, serves as a support role for the entire Social Media team and will provide analytical and logistical support needed by team members on various projects.

    **Primary Duties and Responsibilities;**

    Provides onsite social media support at corporate events. **Travel required**.

    Coordinates purchase and distribution of swag and memorabilia at events.

    Coordinates all onsite logistics for signage, photography, A/V, and attendee engagement.

    Create event specific content as needed.

    Monitor and assist in the escalation of social media community user issues, tracks information, and follows through to issue resolution.

    Provide agent and event attendee Social Media support.

    Analyze surveys and lead valuation meetings with executives regarding event statistics.

    Provides Social Media support and training to new agency users as needed.

    Stays informed of trends and offers innovation and solutions to enhance the attendee experience.

    **Required Skills**

    Outgoing social personality.

    Must have strong project management skills and ability to work autonomously.

    Ability to communicate effectively with executive management while maintaining a strictly professional rapport and relationship.

    Knowledge of the following software preferred CVENT.

    Excellent time management and organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple assignments.

    Strong follow up, attention to detail, and ability to execute projects from conception to completion.

    Strong proofreading and writing skills are required with attention to detail.

    Must be able to translate social media needs and requirements to graphic designers, multimedia designers, web designers, SEO analysts, various company departments, and outside vendors

    **Required Knowledge & Experience**

    Bachelors degree in Social Media or Digital Marketing from four-year college or university.

    Must have 3-5 years of professional social media experience in corporate or agency environment

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and PC.

    Must be able to learn new technologies and become the power user.

    Our Benefits **Savings and Investment Plan (401K) -** Eligible employees may begin participating in the plan on the first day of employment.

    **Dental** and Vision -** Eligible employees and qualified dependents are able to enroll the first of the month following 30 days of continuous service.

    **Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) -** Our FSA has two components, Health Care and Dependent Care Accounts. These accounts allow employees to set aside a portion of their earnings on a pre-tax basis to cover out-of-pocket medical and dependent care expenses. Participation is elected on a calendar year basis and is available to all eligible employees the first of the month following the completion of 30 days of continuous service.

    **Health Savings Accounts (HSA) -** A pre-tax Health Spending Account (HSA) is offered to those who enroll in the High Deductible Plan. It allows you to pay for many of the health care expenses not covered by your medical plan including deductibles and co-pays. Participation is elected on a calendar year basis and is available to all eligible employees the first of the month following the completion of 30 days of continuous service. Company contribution to HSA ($4500 family, $2500 single plans)

    **Short-Term Disability -** Eligible employees may be entitled to salary continuance during periods of temporary disability. Benefits are based on employee status and years of service.*

    **Group Life and Long-Term Disability** -** Eligible employees may elect life insurance and long-term disability coverage the first of the month following 30 days of continuous service.

    **Vacation and Paid Holidays -** Employees are eligible for vacation upon the completion of six months of employment. In addition, the Company offers eight paid holidays.

    **Education Assistance -** The Company supports employees who wish to continue their education to secure increased responsibility and growth within their professional careers. We offer a reimbursement program for expenses incurred through approved institutions of learning. In addition, Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and International Claim Association (ICA) program courses are offered after the completion of six months of services at no cost to the employee.

    **Fitness Reimbursement -** Eligible employees are able to receive up to 100% reimbursement for monthly dues (employee only).

    **Supplemental Plans** -** Cancer, Heart/Stroke, Accident.
