As a Managed Service Provider (MSP), Mentis Group supports the IT environments of multiple small to medium-size businesses (SMBs). The environments can vary in terms of size and complexity. As such, the pace and demands can maintain a high level.

While this position does not require extensive technical skills, a familiarity and comfort with business-grade computers and peripherals is needed.

Likewise, a basic understanding of IT environments is helpful i.e., how servers (on premise and/or cloud hosted), network devices (firewalls, switches, wireless, etc.), workstations and users accounts integrate into an IT environment.


Job Requirements:


  • Minimum of 6 months of handson ITrelated work (formal education and/or certifications a plus)
  • Highly proficient with Windowsbased desktops, laptops and mobile devices. Familiarity with Dell and Lenovo hardware and docking stations is desirable. Familiarity with Apple and Android devices is also plus.
  • Ability and willingness to individually lift up to 30lbs as needed.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Current Texas Driver's License
  • Wellmaintained and insured personal automobilepreferably with a trunk and/or secured space for storage a small amount of hardware, tools, etc.

Responsibilities:


  • Stage and prepare computers for remote automated build or onsite manual build via checklist
  • Assist with final data migration of built computers and position workstation including computer setup, peripheral setup and cable management
  • Relocate hardware such as workstations, printers, etc.
  • Provide "boots on the ground" for remote Engineersthis will an opportunity to learn more about IT

Other Considerations

  • This position reports to the Service Team Lead and is intended to be a fulltime position (with standard benefits to be discussed).
  • Work hours will be variable between 7AM 6PM Monday thru Friday. The Service Coordinator will manage schedule on a daily basis (due to open requests) with a daily target of 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
  • This position is 100% mobile and/or at client site. If there are gaps in schedule, the position will work out of the Mentis office located in north Dallas (75 and 635 area). Travel time to/from Mentis office and Client site is included. Personal home proximity to Mentis office may be differentiator.
  • You will be reimbursed for mileage (at then current IRS rate), parking and tolls on a monthly basis.
  • Upon applying, you may be requested to complete a variety of questionnaires to measure skills, business acumen, personality and capability for growth. Upon extension of offer, you may be requested to complete a background checkemployment with Mentis is depended on a "clear" run.

Pay:
$40, $42,000.00 per year
