California based heavy civil structure construction company specializing in public works such as bridges, retaining walls, drainage structures, guardrail installation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and communicate with project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and subcontractors
- Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all tasks
- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations
- Manage project budgets and track expenses
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress and address any issues or concerns
- Prepare and submit project reports to clients and senior management
- Collaborate with the estimating team to review project bids and proposals
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team throughout the construction process
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project, Blue Beam, Primavera, or similar tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Familiarity with construction contracts and legal requirements
- Strong problemsolving skills to address issues that may arise during construction project
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Heavy Civil Construction Industry
- Clean driving record
- Strong work ethic
Benefits:
- $85, $120,000.00 annual salary with paid time off
