Greenwich Public Schools is seeking Grades K-4 ESL teachers for its 2024 Summer School program.

The Elementary Summer School, for students in Grades PreK4, will be located at New Lebanon Elementary School, and will run for 25 days: July 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 29, 30, & 31, & August 1, 2, 5, 6, & 7; Grades K4 ESL teachers will work 8:30 a.m. through 12:30 p.m., which includes 30 minutes of planning time.

In addition, all Summer School teachers will need to be available on one planning and work day:
July 1, 2024, from 8:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Grades K4 ESL teachers must be certified in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Grades PreK12 (#111).
Compensation for all hours will be at the individual teacher's hourly per diem rate as based on the Agreement between the Greenwich Board of Education and the Greenwich Education Association.
Positions are dependent on student enrollment.
Preference will be given to Greenwich Public Schools teachers contracted for the school year, and then to other Greenwich Public Schools benefitseligible employees.
