Synertex is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Tech Support in Decatur, IL for the Global Fielding Services Contract.

This role will provide technical support for PM Mission Command New Equipment Training / New Equipment Fielding.

Job Description:


As a Technical Support personnel, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining Global Fielding Systems after they have been fielded to the U.S.

Army baseline standard.

You will have knowledge and experience with all programs under the GFS Contract (JBC-P, TMC, and FSC2) as well as other Mission Command programs to assist with troubleshooting and integration.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and conduct technical support missions with U.S. Army, other Joint Departments, and Multi-National Partner units in collaboration with Regional Operations Managers (ROMs) and Regional Digital Systems Engineers (RDSEs).
  • Maintain proficiency in all programs and systems to perform onsite diagnostics and resolve issues.
  • Document corrective actions and provide fault tracking and issue resolution metrics to PM Mission Command.
  • Provide overtheshoulder coaching to improve unit level maintainers and systems analysts to meet U.S. Army standards.
  • Install new software or patches to ensure proper system configuration and functionality.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
