- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related degree and/or an advanced degree in Accounting;
- A minimum GPA of 3.0;
- At least 1 year of tax preparation experience;
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills;
- Proficient use of tax preparation software, Oncesource or GoSystems RS preferred;
- Initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Proficient use of technology including MS Excel; and
- Ability to interact with and gain the respect of all levels of internal and client personnel.

The Role
State and Local Tax (SALT) Experienced Associates serve as members of various client service teams. Experienced Associates receive both formal and on-the-job training to hone and develop their technical knowledge.
Experienced Associates prepare corporate state and local income tax filings, extensions, estimates and all supporting state apportionment, taxable income and modification workpapers.
In addition to the preparation of state and local tax returns, Experienced Associates participate in the state and local tax planning, modeling, conduct research and consult on a variety of matters for corporate clientsThe Requirements
