    Description
    Manufacturing Engineer

    Blitz Staffing is in search of a Manufacturing Engineer in the Schaumburg. IL area for a top manufacturing partner

    Job Type: Direct Hire - Full Time
    Pay Range: $75k - $87k

    Summary: Engineer will demonstrate technical/design efforts from inception taken to production both in new product design and redesigns. Familiar with roll forming, stamping, and fabricating. Experience designing fixtures and provides support to the manufacturing floor.
    • Work with clients and suppliers to direct product specifications, materials, or parts and check products & materials according to specifications and quality
    • Utilize mathematical and physic principles to assist with the design of products
    • Consult with management, quality and manufacturing personnel to discuss manufacturing capabilities, production schedules and resolve issues.
    • Quoting of sheet metal, roll forming, and stamped parts/assemblies
    Education and Experience:
    • BS in Engineering, or equivalent
    • Proficient in AutoCAD, Pro-E, SolidWorks or CATIA
    • Understanding of all sheet metal fabrication, roll forming, and stamping areas
