JOB SUMMARY:

Under the direction of the Distribution Supervisor, this position handles deliveries, pickup, repairs and maintenance tasks for Prism customers.

This position is responsible for adhering to process and productivity goals, while maintaining efficiency and a high level of customer service in the distribution department.


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Education or experience equivalent to a high school diploma.
  • Must have a valid driver's license for a minimum of three years.
  • Must be 19 years of age with a good driving record.
  • Previous relevant experience preferred.
  • Computer or data entry experience.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational, demonstrative, and time management skills.
  • Exercises good judgment and decision making.
  • Excellent human relation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff, and patients.
  • Demonstrates ability to work successfully with internal and external contacts.
  • Demonstrates ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge and adherence to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. ( Education provided during training)
  • Knowledge of federal, state and accrediting body regulations. (Education provided during training)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Using the Tablet prepare Pre-Trip, Load, Deliveries, and Post Trip.
  • Call all patients prior to delivery to communicate delivery schedule and confirm equipment.
  • Verify delivery order with the equipment to be delivered.
  • Restock vehicle excess inventory to ensure ability to handle addon deliveries on the road.
  • Setup equipment in the home and provide instruction on use and safety of the equipment.
  • Complete necessary paperwork/documentation, collect COD payments and verify customer information.
  • Participate in oncall rotation as scheduled.
  • Inspect vehicle daily and report problems to supervisor.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA FDA, DOT and ACHC requirements; maintain necessary logs.
  • Assist with equipment cleaning and maintenance when required.
  • Assist warehouse staff with inventory control.
  • Place any dirty or contaminated equipment in the appropriate cleaning area.
  • Attend inservice training when required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Hearing - Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.

Finger Dexterity - Typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.

Operates a computer and other office productivity equipment, such as a desk telephone, cellphone, copy machine, tablet and computer printer.
