Lead Staff - Diagnostic Program
Shift:
Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday from 7am to 3pm or 3pm to 11pm
The Lead Staff assists in the development, implementation, and coordination of a community-based group home program.
(S)he provides supervision to Child Care Specialist, residents, and assists with the operation of the program to provide a home-like atmosphere with social and recreational programs, and activities that best meet the needs of the residents.
(S)he assists the Residential Manager in maintaining cottage cleanliness, implementing and facilitating daily program structure for residents. (S)he assists with staff training as well as staff scheduling of assigned Child Care Specialist.- Supervises group home staff with the development, implementation, and coordination of a communitybased group home that operates in accordance with all applicable state and local regulatory agencies.
- Directs group home staff in development of individual resident care plans and ensures that appropriate activities are designed and implemented to meet the goals of each plan.
- Directs the maintenance of residents clothing and personal property inventories.
- Performs emergency/crisis prevention intervention procedures as indicated and in accordance with TCH policies and procedures.
- Ensures that the program's behavior management program is implemented and followed.
- Perform related duties, special assignments, and projects as required.
- Monitors assigned budget and adheres to all financial guidelines and maintains documentation of all expenditures to ensure the appropriate utilization of all funds.
- Responsible for recruitment, selection, orientation/training, and evaluation of staff.
- Ensures that the facility is maintained in a clean, healthy and safe manner.
- As needed, provides direct supervision to assigned residents, ensuring the safety and health of the residents at all times.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience: Two to five years' experience working in a residential facility with at least two years of experience working with emotionally disturbed children.

$ $25.00 per hour
