Job Summary:

The Production Supervisor (PS) is primarily responsible for achieving daily production targets in order to meet long range production goals.

The PS is responsible for ensuring the manufacturing process runs smoothly and is efficient with clear organization of work flow and continuous monitoring.

Accomplishing all targets must be done while adhering to highest level quality standards.


Responsibilities:


  • Supervising operations to achieve optimum output
  • Provides and organizes training and training manuals for the production team
  • Leads by example:
sets expectations for staff and monitors delegated activities

  • Ensures compliance with all safety standards
  • Organize, monitor and prioritize tasks to meet production goals
  • Improve efficiency
  • Ensure the flow of raw materials and other resources
  • Providing reports on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
  • Ensuring production capacity is optimized
  • Monitoring and reporting on project and production resource requirements
  • Ensuring Quality Targets are met
  • Ensuring the production staff are properly trained on:
  • production record keeping
  • production processes and procedures
  • Writing and updating SOPs, Work Instructions, Forms and other Quality Management Systems
  • Ensuring compliance of quality standards and policies
  • Functioning as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to help resolve customer complaints, internal non
- conformances and or Quality Improvement initiatives

  • Ensuring Bill of Materials are accurate in companys ERP systems
  • Establishing and driving reductions in usage rates of consumables and scrap rates based on vendor issues
  • Participating in the tech transfer of fully developed products from PD to production
  • Allocating resources for use by PD as needed
  • Other Responsibilities
  • As assigned

To be considered you?ll need:

  • A Bachelors degree in Operations Management or relevant field
or a minimum of 2 years of additional relevant work experience

  • A Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in manufacturing
  • To safely be able to lift 50+ lbs
