Description

As an Accountant, you will play a critical role in the financial operations of the company. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of accounting, recordkeeping compliance, analysis, and financial reporting.

You will oversee day-to-day accounting transactions, collaborating with other teams and various sources of information to ensure financial records are accurate and timely.

Responsibilities:

• Create transactions in the accounting system and maintain complete documentation
• Process cash disbursements
• Maintain and reconcile AP Aging
• Recording cash receipts
• Maintain AR Aging and take an active role in the AR collections process
• Prepare daily bank account reconciliations
• Properly classify company credit card transactions
• Prepare journal entries
• Identify intercompany transactions and maintain intercompany accounts
• Assist with monthly balance sheet account reconciliations and monthend close
• Support annual audit and other compliance reporting with necessary documentation
• Monitor and enforce internal controls and best practices
• Accounting and operational reporting requests
• Identify opportunities to streamline inefficient processes

Requirements and skills:

• 35 years of relevant work experience
• Team player with infectious "can do" attitude
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, or other accounting software
• Netsuite and experience in data rich business intelligence environments preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to adapt and be flexible, high tolerance of ambiguity
• Naturally curious, selfstarting problem solver
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP
