M J & H Fabrication is seeking a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer/Nester.In this role, the CNC Programmer/Nester will work closely with our Fabrication Director, Engineer, shop leads, and table operators to use technology, innovation, and programming to turn flat plate into a complex part(s).
Equipment Capabilities:
10' by 60' 6 Axis HI Definition Plasma Table with Pipe Cutting attachmentPlasma Table Capably of Plasma Cutting 3" thick and Torch Cutting 12" thickDuties & Responsibilities:Read and interpret ASME DrawingsWork with team to create efficiencies, improve automation, and increase machining flexibilityCreate program instructions for machine cutting utilizing ProNest/AutoCADUse knowledge of tooling, machinery, and attention to detail to follow specific standards and reach tight tolerancesQualifications & Experience:Experience within manufacturing production or plant operationsHigh School diploma requiredCNC Programmer vocation certification, or degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or similar field preferred but not requiredWorking knowledge of using calibrated measurement devices and manufacturing softwareKnowledge of CNC machinery, and manufacturing applicationsMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the futureMust be able to successfully complete all post-offer and pre-employment contingenciesRequired Skills & Behaviors:Detail oriented, creative, and tech-savvyAnalytical and problem-solving skillsSafely operate machining and manufacturing equipmentStrong leadership, organizational, and planning skillsBenefits:
