What You'll Do Each Day
As a Purchasing Agent you will assist the Materials Manager with purchasing and expediting raw materials and other goods. You will work with your team on cost savings projects, data input, and other various office work. You will update reports; provide feedback on status to upper management; and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities You'll Be Asked to Perform
Monitor inventory levels and purchase material for assigned commodities.
Receive product into management software for all receipts
Follow up on back orders and expediting.
Assist Purchasing Manager as required
Provide continuous improvement ideas and suggestions
