Description
Battelle is currently looking for a talented individual to join their team as a Public Health Educator/Coach II in Portsmouth, VA. This role will focus on supporting the government customer by maximizing readiness through force health protection strategies and solutions for Public Health threats. The selected candidate will play a key role in conducting Health Surveillance, Epidemiology, Disease and Injury Prevention, and PH Consultation and Support, benefiting active-duty service members, retirees, and their families. Additionally, they will engage in program development on Health Promotion and Wellness topics, facilitate collaborations and education sessions, and assess health education needs to develop targeted healthcare programs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring, evaluating, and improving projects, trainings, and services to reduce population health risks and increase engagement.
